How to use your EBT card to buy the next iPhone or iPad
You can use your Australian Bank Cash (ABN) or your EFT (EBT) card to purchase the latest iPhone or Apple Watch, according to a new application released today.
The Federal Government’s “smart money” system will automatically scan your bank card and give you a “faster, more convenient, more secure and more secure-looking” EBT transaction, the Government says.
The program is called “Smart Money” and was announced in February.
The program will use the new iPhone Xs and Xs Max to check whether you have enough cash to buy an iPhone or watch.
The bank will give you an automatic “EBT check” number and you can use that number to check that you have sufficient cash.
If you’re a new user, the program will scan your EBIT account and ask for a valid payment, the app says.
“You can also use your card to pay for purchases, including: rent, a car loan, groceries and other household goods,” the app said.
“This can be done by scanning your debit card or by adding a credit card to your EYE card.”
If you have a mobile phone with an EBT payment option, you can pay for a purchase by scanning the EYE or a debit card.
“If you don’t have a card, you’ll need to print a receipt or scan your QR code on the front of the EBT device,” the ABC notes.
“It’s a new technology that will be available on the bank’s website shortly.”
The new iPhone and Apple Watch are designed to offer “superior security and reliability”.
The Federal government has promised to extend the program for four more years.
