A Michigan woman who applied for the first time for the state’s jobless compensation program, will be able to apply for the same job in the next three months, according to a news release.
Jennifer Beers, a 24-year-old college student, applied for a job with the State of Michigan’s Unemployment Insurance Administration in January.
Her application was accepted.
The unemployment agency has been working to determine if Beers will be eligible for unemployment benefits, but Beers said she hopes the decision will be made in time for her to go back to school.
Beers’ application for unemployment benefit eligibility has not been approved, according, according with the release.
“We will be issuing a formal request for assistance to be made to the state in the near future.
If the state determines that the application is valid, it will take care of it, the state said in the release.”
