What is the unemployment application process?
What is a medical or medical-aid application?
An application for unemployment benefits is often referred to as a medical application.
You can apply online using a web browser or mail in your application to the unemployment office.
If you need to fill out the application by phone or email, you can get a copy by calling 1-800-931-7111.
A temporary assistance application is available through the US Department of Labor’s (DOL) Unemployment Insurance (UI) website.
The UI provides a way for people to apply for unemployment assistance by phone, email, fax or snail mail.
The application is not a formal job application, but it can help you get a temporary job.
If the application is denied, you could receive a cash benefit of up to $10 per day, which you can spend on rent, groceries, housing, or other essential expenses.
You may be eligible for federal job training assistance if you are employed full-time.
This is available in many states.
A list of states that provide job training can be found on the federal government’s website.
